Who Are We?

• We are a community of faith that, for over 100 years, has sought to imitate the life of Jesus and walk in His footsteps.

•  We are not a mega church.  Instead, we are a smaller church that is able to give attention to each individual and his or her unique faith journey. 

• We are a church with vision.  Prayerfully, and with God's grace, we have plans to grow in numbers and to become more handicap accessible by 2010.

• We are a church with a heart for hands-on service both locally (through the Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council), regionally (through disaster relief), and internationally (ABCUSA Mission / Ministry). 

•  We are associated with the American Baptist Churches of USA, and the Baptist World Alliance.

• As Baptist Christians, we emphasize the Lordship and atoning sacrifice of Jesus, believers’ baptism, the competency of all believers to be in direct relationship with God and to interpret Scripture, the importance of the local church, the assurance of freedom in worship and opinion, and the need to be Christ’s witnesses within society.
