We as a church have organized ourselves around what Jesus said the purpose of the church was to be in “The Great Commandment” and “The Great Commission”.
“Love the Lord your God” with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you mind…and love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22: 37-40)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28: 19-20)
