Homeless Hospitality
As a founding member of the Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council (I.H.O.C.) in 1991 we host for two weeks each winter, approximately 12 men who are part of a transitional program in the county. Along with volunteers from other churches in our community we provide dinner, a warm and secure place to sleep, breakfast and a sack lunch. During the day, the men go to a day center or to jobs, saving money to begin to be self sufficient again.
