Sermon Notes:

1.       The recent arrest of Hutaree Miltia members demonstrates why how we interpret the book of Revelation matters.

2.       John wrote to encourage believers to stand firm against Rome’s call for emperor worship, even unto martyrdom.  He encourages them with this unique writing (Apocyliptic literature) telling them that God will one day vindicate them and establish His eternal kingdom.

3.       Their questions then are also our questions now (vs. 10)

·         How long? _______A little longer_____.

 

·         Will justice ever come? __Yes, it is certain__!
